Warranty Policy

Barcode-USA.com Limited Warranty

Barcode-USA.com stands behind the equipment we sell. Unless otherwise stated on the individual product page, eligible products are covered by our Limited Warranty for a minimum of one (1) year from the date of delivery.

If a different warranty period applies to a particular product, the warranty period stated on that product's page will apply.

What Our Warranty Covers

The Barcode-USA.com Limited Warranty covers qualifying defects in materials or workmanship occurring during the applicable warranty period under normal intended use.

For covered claims, Barcode-USA.com will provide warranty labor for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery.

Depending on the nature of the problem, Barcode-USA.com may, at its option:

  • Troubleshoot the equipment

  • Repair the defective component

  • Replace the defective component

  • Replace the equipment with an equivalent or comparable unit when appropriate

The specific remedy will be determined by Barcode-USA.com based on the circumstances of the warranty claim.

Examples of Covered Failures

Subject to inspection and the limitations of this Warranty Policy, examples of failures that may qualify for warranty service include:

  • Device becomes stuck during the boot process

  • Device will not power on

  • Internal ribbon or flex cable failure

  • Barcode scanner/imager failure

  • Wi-Fi hardware failure or inability to detect available Wi-Fi networks due to a hardware defect

These examples are provided for general guidance and do not guarantee coverage. Barcode-USA.com must inspect or troubleshoot the equipment to determine whether the failure qualifies for warranty service.

What Is Not Covered

Our Limited Warranty covers equipment failures caused by qualifying defects. It does not cover damage or deterioration resulting from normal use, accidents, misuse, abuse, or improper handling.

Examples of conditions generally not covered include:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Physical or cosmetic damage

  • Cracked housings, screens, or displays

  • Damage caused by drops, impacts, crushing, or excessive force

  • Liquid or moisture damage

  • Improper installation or maintenance

  • Unauthorized alterations, modifications, or repairs

  • Tampering with the equipment

  • Damage caused by incompatible accessories or power supplies

  • Damage caused by misuse or operation outside the equipment's intended purpose

  • Employee-inflicted or user-inflicted physical damage

Wear Items & Consumables

Consumable components and items subject to normal deterioration through use are not covered unless otherwise specifically stated.

Examples include:

  • Batteries

  • Velcro

  • Elastic straps

  • Worn buttons or keycaps

  • Protective coverings

  • Other consumable or normal-wear components

A component reaching the end of its normal service life is not considered a defect in materials or workmanship.

Warranty Inspection

All warranty claims are subject to inspection, testing, or troubleshooting by Barcode-USA.com.

If inspection determines that the failure resulted from a covered defect, Barcode-USA.com will provide the applicable warranty remedy.

If the equipment is determined to have failed because of wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, abuse, unauthorized modification, or another condition excluded from warranty coverage, the repair may be treated as a non-warranty repair.

We will advise the customer when additional repair charges may apply.

Shipping & Logistics

Shipping and logistics associated with warranty claims will be handled at the discretion of Barcode-USA.com unless otherwise required by applicable law.

When equipment requires repair because of wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, abuse, or another non-warranty condition, all shipping and logistics expenses are the responsibility of the customer.

Customers should contact Barcode-USA.com before shipping equipment for warranty service to obtain the appropriate instructions.

Conditions That Void Warranty Coverage

Warranty coverage may be voided when equipment has been:

  • Altered or modified without authorization

  • Tampered with

  • Improperly installed

  • Improperly maintained

  • Subjected to accident, misuse, or abuse

  • Repaired or modified in a manner that caused or contributed to the claimed failure

Warranty coverage will not be denied solely because an unrelated modification or repair exists unless that modification, repair, or other excluded condition caused or contributed to the claimed failure where applicable law requires such a connection.

Barcode-USA.com Warranty vs. Manufacturer Warranty

Unless expressly stated otherwise on the product page, this Limited Warranty is provided by Barcode-USA.com.

A manufacturer's original warranty, factory support agreement, or manufacturer-direct technical support is not included unless specifically stated on the product page or accompanying documentation.

Customers should therefore rely on the warranty coverage expressly provided with their Barcode-USA.com purchase rather than assuming that manufacturer-direct warranty coverage applies.

Limitation of Remedies

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Barcode-USA.com's obligation under this Limited Warranty is limited to troubleshooting, repairing, replacing a defective component, or replacing the affected equipment, at Barcode-USA.com's option.

Except where prohibited by law, Barcode-USA.com will not be responsible for special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use, inability to use, failure, repair, or replacement of equipment.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Barcode-USA.com's aggregate liability relating to a particular item of equipment will not exceed the amount actually paid by the customer to Barcode-USA.com for that equipment.

Disclaimer of Other Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS PROVIDED IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Some states or jurisdictions do not permit limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. Accordingly, some of the limitations or exclusions contained in this policy may not apply to every customer.

No employee, salesperson, agent, reseller, dealer, or other person is authorized to modify or expand this Limited Warranty unless the modification is provided in writing by an authorized representative of Barcode-USA.com.
